“ The place was sooo cute. The food even better. The staff was also really friendly but they did spill water over one of the girlies in my group lol. The matcha pudding at the end of our meal was probably my favorite lol. ”
“ A Hidden Gem That Lives Rent-Free in My Mind! From the moment Kyuramen opened its doors in December 2024, I knew this place was something special. As a ramen lover, I’ve been to many spots, but nothing compares to the experience here—everything is made from scratch, and you can truly taste the difference. Service That Feels Like Family: I have to shout out the incredible team, especially Vivi, Tony, and June. They go above and beyond, making every visit feel like a warm, welcoming experience. Their attentiveness, kindness, and enthusiasm are unmatched—I’ve practically adopted them as family at this point! The Food – A Symphony of Flavors: If you’re here for the food (which you should be), get ready for your taste buds to dance! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and every dish is uniquely crafted, packed with flavor, and beyond satisfying. From the appetizers to the ramen to the desserts, Kyuramen never misses. If you’re worried about picking the right dish—don’t be. Everything is a winner. The Best Feature? The Button System! One of my favorite things about Kyuramen is their button system at the table. Need to order? Pay? Have a question? Just press a button, and the staff comes right over—no more awkwardly waving down a server! It’s a game-changer and makes dining here stress-free. Final Verdict: Kyuramen is easily my favorite ramen spot—not just in Winchester, but anywhere! Whether you’re a ramen connoisseur or just looking for an amazing meal, GO GO GO! You will not be disappointed. I will always come back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ”
“ Wow. Everything was superb! Everything down to the last detail! The hexagon tables are super cute and provide a slightly more intimate experience, and there's larger booths for parties of people. Ambiance is delightful and there's so many details to look at! Food? SO GOOD! Very authentic and lots of spices, giving your tastebuds a delicious rollercoaster throughout the meal. Service was really nice and everyone was kind, but the time i went was really busy, so understandably it seemed like the staff was doing a million things at the same time. Note they were not inattentive, my party and i were waited on very quickly after seating. I can't wait to come back here! ”
“ KYURAMEN – 538 Main St, Winchester, MA 01890 Looking to get transported to Japan without hopping on a flight? KYURAMEN in Winchester is the place to be. My boyfriend and I had an amazing date night here, and we can’t stop raving about it! We started with their Popcorn Chicken, which was perfectly crispy, seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper. Each bite was flavorful, juicy, and addicting—honestly one of the best popcorn chickens we’ve had. Next, we split the Yakitori Platter, which comes with five different skewers: chicken thigh with leek, beef skirt, pork belly, baby scallop, and zucchini. It’s a great way to sample a variety of textures and flavors in one dish. The skewers were all tender, smoky, and grilled to perfection. For mains, we ordered the #9 Chicken Ramen—a rich chicken broth paired with grilled chicken, marinated egg, bamboo shoots, corn, wakame, scallion, and nori. The broth was comforting and clean, the grilled chicken had a nice char, and the marinated egg was soft and savory. It hit all the right notes. But the real showstopper? The Tonkatsu Omurice. It may sound simple—just eggs and rice—but don’t be fooled. The fluffy omelet sits atop chicken fried rice, topped with a crispy pork tonkatsu and smothered in your choice of curry sauce or demi-glace. We went with the curry and it was incredible—rich, savory, and full of umami. Truly a 10/10. The ambiance here also deserves a shoutout. With its cozy, wooden booths and lantern-lit atmosphere, KYURAMEN makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a stylish ramen bar in Tokyo. It’s intimate and warm, perfect for a chill dinner or cute date night. Highly recommend checking this place out—and if you do, let me know what you order! I’m already dreaming about our next visit. 10/10 food and ambiance. 7/10 affordability! ”
“ I really love the design of Kyuramen!! The food was wonderful, came with fams, so we can try a little bit of everything!! My all-time favorite was the lobster ball and fried squid! Their special lemonade was very refreshing. The cucumber inside does give that extra fresh hint! My only complaint was fried purple yam fries were not sweet enough, but obviously, these can't be controlled. I ordered the #2 Ramen, I forgot the name, but I love it because it comes with pork belly instead of chashu! My secret is to add their special sauekraut pepper sauce, adding some spicyy to it! Ohh!! And if you are a fan of matcha, don't forget to try their dessert !! ”
“ The yinyang ramen bowl is incredible! Tempura sweet potato fries were bomb. Everyone loved their food. The service wasn't great (long wait for some of the food) but the staff was friendly. The food is delicious. Will definitely be back. ”
“ This is the best ramen in Boston area. This bowl of ramen really hit the spot. The broth was rich and flavorful, but not too heavy—like a warm, savory hug. The noodles had a nice chew to them and didn’t get soggy, which I appreciated. The toppings were solid: tender slices of pork, a perfectly soft-boiled egg, some green onions, and a bit of seaweed for texture. Nothing too fancy, but everything worked well together. ”
“ Love the layout of the restaurant, it’s modern sleek and super cool dining experience. On the day we came it was a hot day but the nice AC inside cooled me down very well. The food was absolutely stellar, highly recommend the Japanese fries as an appetizer (crunchy like McDonald’s fries but with a takoyaki sauce/fish flakes on top) The main dishes were incredible we got the pork ramen and the creamy udon both were perfect flavor and texture. ”
